Going beyond the coursebook: content at the centre of instruction by Andreia Zakime. Room 19.
Andréia is the Course Director on our Trinity Diploma course. She is also an experienced CELTA and Trinity Diploma trainer and has been involved in language teaching for 20 years. She holds an MA in Publishing with a focus on Digital Learning technologies and is the co-founder of What is ELT?, a blog dedicated to teacher development and education.

Option 1: Developing Student Commitment by Duncan Foord
Duncan is the founder and Director of the school. He has 30 years’ experience in language teaching, teacher training and school leadership and management. He is the author of several books including From English Teacher to Learner Coach, The Developing Teacher and The Language Teachers Survival Handbook. He is lead trainer on our Leadership in ELT course and a regular presenter at conferences on a range of areas.
Option 2: Effective Dynamics for the YL classroom to maximise acquisition by Pere Cortiella
Pere has taught English to kids, teens and adults for over 15 years. He now specialises in teaching young learners working in different schools in Barcelona. He has also spent 9 years training teachers for the Generalitat de Catalunya, the prestigious language school ICCIC, International House and the British Council. He has co-authored four coursebooks for primary students published by Mosquito Books BCN.
